| Who are we?? We are the Youths! BOOM22 PAW~! |
Assalamualaikum. I just feel like talking about something, well I don't really know how to express this feeling. . . But all I can say is that I just feel SAD looking at our 1. Race, 2. Generation. . . :C
*I know, the pic earlier seemed so random and it didn't match my mood of writing. But you'll see its relevance later. Trust me. :3 *
Being abroad, the only source to get more knowledge is through the net, and when I say net, I mean YOUTUBE. HEE. :D So the knowledge includes about our own homeland obviously. The info in it is just TOO much to handle I'd say. And speaking bout this, I mean everything that's going on in Malaysia. What's happening to Malaysia that was once known for its unity, culture and harmony despite the presence of many different races and ethnics??
So before I address the issue here, lemme just clarify something. I find that most people are usually stuck in the spectrum between being either super OBSESSED or super IGNORANT about the current issues in our country. For instance, the grownups tend to be sOoOoooOooOoo inclined towards talking about the country's politics. How about the youths? Well, I've seen a lot of my friends tend to not care about what's really going on between the grown ups. And if there is any of em who cares about these issues, it'll be the ones who are very persistent in sticking to only one ideology brought by hmm, a leader or a party? >,O
Forgive me for saying this too early, but this devastated feeling of mine emerged when I saw this one vid on Malays praying for the downfall of the Government (of different party) which also consists of Malays. . . *jawdropped* :O And there are several things I'd like to say bout this vid:
1. Who taped this and put it on Youtube? You're causing major issues to people who watches it i.e, people will end up fighting with each other, and curse upon each other due to their differences in opinions.
2. To those who gave emotional comments, congrats you've just won yourself a trip to emotional-reckless-people-who-don't-know-what-etiquette-is-pfthh-ISLAND! *sarcastic tone*
3. As much as I think it's inappropriate to tape this kind of event i.e, praying scenes etc. . I also think it's not appropriate to pray for your own brothers their downfall. Not only that, I also think it's kinda immature to do such a thing.
4. I've never been more devastated in my life, seeing how bad the fracture has done to our unity within our own race.
5. Who are we to judge and categorize people into whether or not they are sinful?? That's the work of God. And only God knows.
6. Can't help thinking how the non-Malays are clapping their hands seeing the Malays doing this to their own kind. D:
7. Lastly, for those who are not Malaysians and are giving pieces of crap, BUG OFF! Sometimes it's people like you who makes things worse in a worst case scenarios like this. I mean, if it's a useful comment or idea, we wouldn't mind, but we don't need any "Sir Stamford Raffles" anymore since our last encounter with him in our history. . . He had brought enough trouble to the brotherhood of the Sultanate of Johore. *Though I'm not really into history, I am kinda patriotic ya know >,<*
So, what I've summarized above is regarding the not so new news that I just got to know a few months ago. *I know, I'm so outdated* But I bumped into that vid anyways and it made me feel frustrated thinking how divided we are now. ;(
I wish that the Malaysians realize this, and more importantly, the MALAYS. . . I don't know who's right and who's wrong, in fact, no one knows who's right and who's wrong. One man could be right but unfortunately his party is fighting for the wrong things, and same goes the other way round, one party could be right but unfortunately its men are fighting for the wrong things. It can go various ways. But all I'm saying here is that, for the leaders who wants to win their subjects' hearts, be sure that the things you do are NOT for your own PERSONAL GOALS. God knows whatever your intentions are, so do purify them. And believe me, there ARE leaders who wants to become leaders simply because of POWER and POSSESSIONS.
As for my fellow youths, be more useful by paying attention to your surroundings. I'm not suggesting you guys to get involved with political parties or become activists or anything, all I want is you guys to be PATIENT ANALYTICAL OBSERVERS. A lot of our youngsters today end up wasting their energies doing things that destroy their innocence. To any individuals who feels the statement above applies to them, Stop rempit-ing. Stop drug dealing. Stop acting like you know everything when you actually don't. Stop skipping schools. Stop wasting your parents money on drugs. Stop drinking while driving. Stop being jerks without jobs and going "weewit" on girls that passes by. Stop selling yourself. Stop making yourself pregnant. Stop throwing away your baby in the garbage dumps. Stop disappointing your parents. Stop believing foreigners into going back to their countries just for the sake of love. Stop ruining your dreams. Stop MAKING A FOOL OF YOURSELF. Just STOP it okay? Sorry for the messed up tone there. But this is to make you guys realize how much emphasis I'm putting on my writing here to want you to stop doing all of the above and others that I left out. Try reading it with a wonderful calm tone, you'll see how much it makes sense. :3 I was just being stern, in a way. xD
Back to the topic. Hmm. . . like seriously, I'm tired of hearing "I hate politics" or "I don't wanna hear anything that has to do with the Government" or " I wanna join Bersih 2.0" yatta22. . .Stop giving crappy comments without even trying to consider yourself a Malaysian. And don't even get me started with voting for the elections. "Tanak lah aku undi. Takde beza pon rasanya kalau aku undi. . Kerajaan menang jugak" "Pilihanraya tak bersih, buang masa je undi" "Aku undi, tapi aku pangkah semua *puts on a retarded face*" -These are typical answers we get from pessimists. The future of a nation depends on its youths, really. Think about it, if it weren't for us the grown ups won't even be able to be in their positions right now. The power to APPOINT is far more POWERFUL than we actually thought.
As a closing for this post, here's a song to inspire you readers about unity amongst us. Sorry for the not so attractive fonts and background. >< Apparently it's the only vid of this song that I could find on Youtube. . So yeah~ But most importantly, LOOK AT THE LYRICS. Totally meaningful and hope the message reaches you guys.
P/s: Raihan rocks! and still does. xP
"Bersatu kita teguhSo the conclusion to the earlier pikucha in this post is. . .
Bercerai kita roboh
Yang berat sama dipikul
Yang ringan dijinjing sama"
HOPE = US

ReplyDeletevery true...jgn sibuk cari kesalahan org klau kesalahn kita sendiri pon byk...
Yeap22. Precisely. basically, klu nk tgur kesalahan org lain pon, ada caranya... it is when we get to grasp on how to tegur, baru lah org blh terima dgn baek. n it doesnt end there, after kita da tegur org, it doesnt mean we're always right, the process kena seiring dgn kita pon berubah towards better jugak. dat's how it works
