mine is ALLAH, how about you?

Have you guys watched Life of Pi yet? God it's an awesome movie, and novel too!! But if you guys notice, the movie doesn't only highlight awesome use of CGI and Richard Parker je, but the meaning of the story, falsafah of the story that makes feel really attached to movie. Which is to seek for THE RIGHT ONE (not awek okay, tuhan! adoyai awek je kau ingat)

What I like bout Life of Pi is the idea of showing a guy embracing 3 religions at the same time!! YES, 3! (Islam, Christian and Hindu). After he went to the temple, he went to perform solat and suddenly said that he wanted to be baptized! HAHA. What surprises me is that his family doesn't seem to disagree with what he's doing. P/S: his dad is an atheist btw. To some it might be too sensitive to discuss let alone to be made into a movie kan? But I really salute the effort made by the hero to find the REAL ONE.

And to relate kat Malaysia pulak, timbul la pulak isu kalimah Allah ni. CE CITE CE CITE! Camni, MB Penang, Lim Guan Eng cadang nak letak kalimah Allah dalam Bible edisi bahasa Mandarin dan Tamil. This had received mixed opinions by people la. Ada yang agree, ada yang tak. Obvious la kan yang tak setuju tu Majoriti Malays.

TAPI kan, kalau korang nak tahu, actually in some countries, they use the word Allah as a general word for God. Mcam kat Arab Saudi and Indonesia. Type 'Allah peduli' kat Youtube. That is a song by Agnes Monica and ada lirik dalam lagu tu yang berbunyi "Allah Yesusku". Sensitif kan? But still it is normal in some places. Is it wrong to use Allah as a general word of God? What do you think?

Melayu kat Malaysia ni special sangat sebab kalau Melayu mesti Islam agama dia. GERENTI. Takde Melayu Kristian, Melayu Buddha, Melayu Atheist ke, TAKDE! (tp actually ada, tu it's wrong la actually). Tak mcam bangsa lain, where when a person reaches 18, he/she can choose whatever religion yang dorang nak. Although it's not their parents' religion pon. Mcam ada my Italian friend. Her mum is Christian and she is an atheist, and she chose to follow her dad.

(haishhh....) Tapi actually kan, ada kebebasan beragam ada pros and cons dia.

Pros dia, you can actually be more curious and berani nak cari Tuhan yang sebenar. You can ask anything, do anything and believe in anything. Example, I have my Chinese friend that used to be a Buddhist and then she found that there is something wrong with her religion, and started searching. She then converted into Christian. And she became a very pious one. Tak pernah miss pergi church every Sunday. Again, this is what SHE thought was wrong with Budhha. Not me, not you.

Cons dia pulak, when you have the freedom to choose, you tend to be 'free' finally. Paham tak? Dia mula rasa mcam "alang-alang dah free, buat apa nak ada agama". Bukan atheist tau. Ermm how to say ah? Nanti you will think that there is no God, no Heaven or Hell, no sin. So later you will do things that you "like to do", not "need to do". And they're usually the bad stuff. Your life will have no objective. You will have no faith. You will feel empty.

I am a Muslim. I sometimes do watch and read stuffs about Jesus, Budhha and other religions. And I don't think it's wrong to do that as long as I have 100% faith that Allah is the ONLY ONE. So should the Malays in Malaysia have kebebasan beragama? I dunno la. Tak bebas pon dah mcam bebas je. Langgan GRO, judi, arak. you see?

SO tu la, religion is a VERY DAMN SERIOUS MATTER. BUT it doesn't mean that we should only care bout ours and ignore the others. If you believe in your religion, cari lah dalam mana pon agama lain, the final answer should be the religion that you 'anuti' sekarang. Okay salam bye! :) p/s: my post got nothing to do with politics. i'm a neutral man. so far . . .
